Hypericum (St John's Wort) which works directly on nerve endings, is calming. Essential oils of grapefruit, cypress, lavender and geranium join hypericum herbal-infused oil to relieve stress and pain, so often trapped in the abdomen and lower back. The Bach flower, 'mustard' helps with processing change. 

Venus Healing Oil's aromatic profile is rich floral, determined by geranium which is one of nature's most powerful mood-balancing and 'mending' oils. She is tapered with the light citrus smell of grapefruit, which combined the high-heart note of lavender and sensibility of Australian cypress, 'lifts' sour and stubborn energies from your body and mind. Cypress, a grounding base oil, has been added to balance circulation. Together these essential oils synergise to become a cirtrus-floral- eucalypt ensemble, exactly what is needed for full mind-body balance. Venus Healing Oil is applied topically to specific areas, and for mood balance, it is best rubbed into wrists and temples for fast action. 

Because mustard has been added (Bach flowers and vibrational essences are water-based remedies), Venus Healing Oil has a natural, sweet almond oil solubiliser to ensure that mustard solubilises in oil. That is why the texture of Venus Healing Oil is slightly different to standard massage oils.

Originally, our  therapeutic intention, was to create a healing oil for women experiencing menstrual pain and the mood-altering affects of hormonal fluctuation. But that was over 25 years ago.
