The Natural Advantage

Our Flea & Tick Repellent is an all-natural, aromatherapy-based preventative solution, particularly recommended for the hands-on pet owner and multiple-pet households. It is a cost-effective way to protect your fur family against fleas and ticks. It is not intended to kill parasites, if your pet has already has fleas or other parasitical infestation, or if you need to break an egg cycle. 

For the purpose of parasite prevention, our combination of lavender, eucalyptus, citronella and terebith do the job. Should your pet be exhibiting irritation from flies in summer, spray the diluted solution onto their coats to deter pesty flying insects. The inclusion of Shine pet shampoo in our Flea & Tick Repellent recipe, adds to the insect deterrent power. It allows it to 'stick' a little to their coats after grooming, extending product effectiveness and longevity. 

Presented as a concentrate, make-up Flea & Tick Repellent spray solution as needed. Simply add a cap full to 1 litre of water, in a spray bottle. Flea & Tick Repellent makes up to 20 litres. Directions for use are on the bottle. 

Jamie suggests to use the spray solution after bathing and grooming, and letting it dry on your pet's coat. You should also spray pet bedding habitually, especially in summer months. The best way to apply it onto a cat's coat, is to spray your own hand and then stroke or pat your cat.

Intention and Inspiration

Jamie wanted to give pets natural, preventative protection from the most common parasites, fleas and ticks. Commerical parasite-preventation products contain toxic ingredients that may bombard sensitive pets and their immune systems, over time. Jamie saw the value and need for light, natural protection that would simultaneously boost natural resilience and physical immunity. With essential oils as our base, we knew we could cover the basics with a product that was also pleasant smelling for both pets and owners. 

Jamie knows too well the finanical pressures that commerical flea-protection products for larger dog breeds, present. Applied monthly, the dilution and use of these chemical products is calculated according to the weight of your pets, which necessitates the purchase of multiple products, for multiple-pet households. This can be cost-prohibitive. Creating natural flea and tick prevention in a 100mL bottle as a concentrate, is cost-effective and convenient for multi-pet and multi-breed households. Flea & Tick Repellent is on-hand, easy to store and has longevity. 

Using Olfactory Intelligence

Flea & Tick Repellent is primarily a natural, cost-effective fleas and tick preventative. Made from premium essential oils, it also lifts stale or imposing pet odours in the house and delineated pet-spaces.

You can use Flea & Tick Repellent to change smells that may be disturbing your pet, for example, restore their own sense of space after other 4-legged friends have visited. You can also use Flea & Tick Repellent to change odours that humans may not be able to detect but which are influencing your pet's behaviour: spray areas where your cat or dog may be urinating should their choice site be inappropriate. Throw a capful of Flea & Tick Repellent  in the pet wash to freshen and lift stale smells from jackets and bedding.
