Our Teaching Methods

Understanding Essential Oils and Creating Boutique Blends can not be learned from books or any other aromatherapy course or workshop. This workshop is taught energetically, which means you not only recieve information and guidance about essential oils and their purpose, but we guide you as to how to communicate with  essential oils, tuning into their holistic power and poignant messages. You are guided to open up actual dialogue with essential oils, and will learn how to confidently create boutique blends that resonate with you.

Jamie approaches synergy-creation in a hands-on way. Unafraid of creativity, we allow your advanced perspective fields to thrive. Your own new synergies emerge through intent, ordering and understanding sound, vibration and frequency. There are practical, creative channelling exercises and energetic downloads built-in to the workshop structure, designed to lead you to the selection of right oils, and to perfect and balance totally unique, customised blends.  

Jamie is able to teach energetically and stimulate full perceptive engagement  because this workshop is only taught privately. The focus is on you, 100%. We will get the best out of you and know how to empower your olfactory creativity. You can choose to do Understanding Essential Oils and Creating Unique Blends as a single day, intensive workshop; or as 2 x half-day intensives that suit your own timetable. 

The cost of Understanding Essential Oils and Creating Unique Blends includes resources made onsite as well as a light luncheon and tea-break snacks for those who come to Burwood. For those who opt to learn online, you will receive some resources from Jamie as part of your tuition.

What You Create

Synergies made in Understanding Essential Oils and Creating Unique Blends workshop are cost-inclusive. In this workshop, you will create:

- 2 x 15mL essential-oil blend in Jojoba Oil; and either
- 2 x 15mL pure essential-oil blends; OR
- 1 x 15mL pure essential-oil blend and 1 x 50mL essential-oil massage oil. 

Sensory Intelligence

Our sense of smell is the only one of our primary 5 senses that is connected to all parts of the brain. It is a powerful link to both emotion and memory. This is the reason that scents stimulate such powerful, clear and instant reactions. 'Smell' is not only linked to our primal survival instinct, but also to our capacity to heal. Through choosing to study Understanding Essential Oils and Creating Unique Blends you not only begin to understand these connections, but through olfactory stimulation and enhanced sensory connection, you will also mprove the function of all five senses. 

Essential oils are pure, holistic and nature's concentrates. While Understanding Essential Oils and Creating Unique Blends is not a pre-requisite to Natural Harmony- Turning Music into Scent, it is a huge advantage to have completed it before embarking on the next level. Natural Harmony- Turning Music into Scent builds on sound-vibrational sensitivites stimulated in Understanding Essential Oils and Creating Unique Blends, which is the first level of practical vibrational aromatherapy. 

If you love essential oils, have a strong olfactory sense and are passionate about this area, we recommend that you do both courses. The commitment itself will steamroll downloads, and will enable us to construct both workshops together so as to best align with your specific goals.
